Rare antique pastel on paper by Edward T. Gibbs (American, 1863 [New Bedford, Massachusetts] to 1934 [Maumee, Ohio]. Depicting a landscape scene, a country home in the distance with a dirt road down the center, shrubbage on each side with grass, trees and a body of water, all beneath a blue sky and clouds. Signed "Gibbs" to lower left. Measures 13-1/2" H x 33-1/2" W. Frame 20" H x 41" W x 1-3/4" D.
