Large antique Japanese shibayama lacquer panel inlaid with carved & stained bone and mother of pearl, depicting a large [mother-of-pearl] Eagle [or bird of pray] perched on the branch of a [bone] tree branch with flowers, anxiously seeking it's next meal. Gold and silver leaf wooden frame with carved floral design. Lacquer panel measures 35-1/2" H x 21" W. Frame measures 39-1/2 H x 27-1/2" W x 1-1/2" D.
