70 - 19TH C. VICTORIAN EPERGNE CENTERPIECE + PLATEAU

Exquisite setup is comprised of two separate purchases from fortunoff: 1st- "Stock Number 8456819: Victorian silver plate epergne C 1850 on tripod base ornate with acanthus leaves and dolphins, fluted stem rising to central large base holding a large cut crystal bowl, six branches, each terminating in a removable cut crystal bowl, height 32 inches. $20,000" -Documentation of fortunoff, Westbury, NY, dated 10-30-98. 2nd- "Stock Number 8456980: Victorian silver plate plateau C 1850, oval five part one large centralpart 27 inches, two smaller parts each measuring 18 inches, two oval ends each measuring 14 inches, mirror surface, gallery border with festoons and swags . $9,000" -Documentation of fortunoff, Westbury, NY, dated 10-30-98. The centerpiece measures 32" H x 24" W, each arm and bowl removable. The mirror tray as shown in the photos measures approximately 62" L x 17-1/4 W, which consists of 4 sections; (2) 18" long rectangle inner sections and (2) 13-1/4" long rounded end sections. There is also an additional 27" long section included that is not shown in the photos, intended to be the center section.
