70 - 2 CHARLES GIBILTERRA LEATHER LOUNGE CHAIRS

A rare pair of lounge chairs in chocolate brown leather with solid polished bar steel cantilevered frames designed by Charles A Gibilterra for Glenn of California, 1971. Later manufactured by Brueton Furniture. Very comfortable floating lounge seating position.Expertly handcrafted and in original condition. Three buttons loose on one chair. Overall measurements: 29.5" tall, 30" wide, 35" deep. Seat height: 21" at rest, 16" in use. Seat cushion: 27" wide, 22" deep. Back cushion: 27" wide, 15" tall. Similiar in style to the renowned Ludwig Mies van der Rohe BRNO flat bar chairs by Knoll, Milo Baughman, and other mid century modern steel & leather chairs.
