Beautiful 84 silver cigarette box with oval plaque to face featuring Russian Imperial symbol with ruby to center, atop a burgundy enamel with guilloche star burst rays underneath that continue beyond the plaque's 44 rose cut diamond border- to form the sun ray design on the lid with sapphire push-button closure. Hallmarked "88" (St. Petersburg Kokoshnik) and "KF" (Karl/Carl Faberge) maker mark both to inner lid and to inner latch area. Circa early 20th C. Measures 3 5/8" L x 3 3/8" W x 1/2" D. Weighs 155g. In fitted presentation box. Box measures 6 L" x 5" W x 1 5/8" D. Total weight 10.9oz.
